Ny State Minimum Wage 2024 Salary Schedule. As part of the fy 2024 budget, governor hochul secured an historic agreement to increase new york’s minimum wage through 2026 and index it to inflation beginning in 2027. Under current projections 1 for inflation and labor productivity, as shown in table 1, indexing the minimum wage to changes in prices and productivity would increase new york.

New york state will raise minimum wage to $16 an hour for employees in nyc, long island and westchester, beginning in 2024, as well as $15 elsewhere in the state. The minimum wage also went into effect on 01/01/2024.
